Due to the Coronavirus situation we have had to put new measures and procedures into place to protect both our customers and our staff.

We will be finding our feet as we reopen and hope you will bear with us as we trial these new measures.

Please do not enter the premises if you feel unwell, have a temperature or a cough or a cold.

Bookings

Bookings will need to be made in advance for both diners and drinkers as we will be operating table service only.  This will help us to control the number of staff and customers in the restaurant at any given time.  We will no longer be able to accept walk-in customers.

Parking & Entering the restaurant

Please kindly park to the rear of the property.  This will enable us to use the front car park for tables when the weather is good and will allow for greater distance between customers.

Time limit

Reservations will have a 2 hour time limit as we have reduced the number of tables within the restaurant.

Hygiene measures

We have new cleaning procedures in place and you will see notices dotted around the restaurant reminding you to wash your hands and sanitise any surfaces touched after use.  There will be hand sanitisers and wipes outside the loos, on the bar and before you enter the building.  We would kindly ask you to use these before entering the premises.  Please respect social distancing guidelines of 2m in order to keep yourselves, fellow diners and our team safe.

Seating & Service

On arrival you will be greeted by a member of our team who will explain to you where your table is.

A paper menu will be provided, 1 per table.  This will be disposed of at the end of your meal.  Menus will also be written on chalkboards where possible.

We will be operating a one-way system within the restaurant using the green door to the side of the building as the entrance and the patio doors as the exit. This should help customers to maintain a 2m distance from other diners.

Cutlery and glassware will be provided with your meal.

Orders for food and drink will be taken in the usual way.

We will not be able to serve salt & pepper and if you wish for any extra sauces please request these at the same time your order is being taken to prevent multiple trips to your table.

Payment

We would kindly ask that contactless payment is used wherever possible and a card reader will be brought to your table.  Please do not come to the bar to pay.

Contact forms

All diners and drinkers will need to fill out contact forms with details of address and phone number for all members of the group in the event of contact tracing being needed.
